It is a proven fact that sleep - including taking short naps - is good for losing weight. Naps lower the risk of heart disease and can reduce your stress levels as well as resetting all of your hormone levels. Why not take one in a lawn chair or hammock in the shade?

Note: If you're constantly feeling tired during the day then that's a sign you may not be getting enough sleep at night. If you snore heavily or have been told that you stop breathing when you sleep, these are signs of sleep apnea and it's very important that you make an appointment to see your doctor as soon as possible for treatment. Sleep apnea may be directly related to weight gain. Don't let it go. See your doctor asap!

Tip #3: Exercise in the morning.

This may be the most important of all weight loss tips. Exercising in the morning helps you get ready for the day and energizes you. It will also help to reduce your appetite. When you get out exercising in the morning during the summer, you get to enjoy the crisp morning air and can enjoy the sound of the birds. Plus, you miss the heat of the day. You'll get your blood pumping and more oxygen to your brain and muscles which will wake you up and keep you sharper and more alert throughout the day.
