Healthy Benefits Of Quantum Nutrition Methods

By Teri Farley

Quantum nutrition can be defined as the process of nourishing oneself with optimal amounts of healthy food. By practicing this method, you can enhance the manner in which your body uses food. This could lead to overall wellness.

The composition of individual cells is highly specialized. As food cells develop, factors can effect their health. Various reports indicate that conditions of growth, harvest methods, and food preparation influence the quality of the food. In turn, these conditions are meaningful in the assimilation of nutrients to the consumer. When individuals eat foods, their cellular makeup is impacted. Whether this impact is positive or negative is of major import to the individual.

The growth cycle of healthy food is interdependent in nature. Robust mediums such as soil and water help grow wholesome food. At harvest time, optimal practices should exist. When consumers prepare and eat healthy food, they are reaping the benefits of all these healthful conditions.

If you are growing your own food, keep the soil and plants healthy and free of toxins. There are many organic and natural choices to consider. But keep in mind that if the organic plant were grown in unhealthy soil, the cellular makeup of the plant would be compromised. There may be short term benefits of ingesting any food but if cellular structure were compromised, long term results would be unfavorable.

The type of cookware chosen and method of preparation are also important in the promotion of healthy cell structure. There are several choices available when considering the best type of cooking pans. Aluminum and nonstick surface cookware are not recommended due to potentially damaging toxic leaching properties. Studies postulate that these types of cookware pose a health risk. If you are using aluminum or nonstick pans, keep the temperature lower than normal. This reduces the risk of toxicity exposure. Cellular structure could be severely impacted with the existence of such compounds.

Rice is an international food staple. Recent studies show that certain types of brown and white rice contains arsenic. This is due to the cultivation of rice in soils that were previously tainted with arsenic from certain fertilizers used in the past. And while these fertilizers are no longer legal to sell, the soil is still contaminated with the toxins. To compound the issue, when rice is watered, there is increased arsenic released into the plants. This consideration is a prime example for the need to support the idea of quantum nutrition.

Choice of cookware is another important factor in maintaining cellular integrity of nutrients. There are several options available. Cast iron is a healthy alternative because it distributes heat evenly, is tolerant of higher temperatures, and any leaching that occurs is limited to iron. However, it is not recommended for highly acidic foods such as tomatoes, vinegar, or lemon juice, because a metallic taste can be imparted to the food. Also, some individuals are sensitive to iron and this could prove to be detrimental. Enameled cast iron is a variation. This type of cookware has been utilized for many years and yields the same features as cast iron.

As an informed consumer, you can raise your awareness of quantum nutrition methods. Consider better food sources and their means of preparation. Make intentional decisions that support your healthy choices. Those decisions can make a powerfully beneficial difference in your health.
